I wanted to thank the many people who have emailed us that they planted forestry in Pete's honor ...  a ROSE bush (Pete Sr., Nettie's & Peter's favorite) in Germany ... MAPLE trees in the Pacific Northwest ...  EVERGREENS in Canada ... an OAK tree in Norway ... a seedling in Italy ...  for the man forever known as The Green Man.

You all are so special to us, and every time someone sends me a note about it, I relay the gesture to the rest of the family.

People have asked me if I knew of a group seeking donations for a tree planting in Pete's honor in Prospect Park. At the moment, no one from that group has contacted this blog directly. I don't know anything about it, nor do I know the people behind the organization. I do invite them to contact this blog. I'd love to know more about the project.
